**Bodø/Glimt and Viking have pulled clear at the top of the 2026 Eliteserien after 18 matchweeks, leaving a wide group of clubs clustered between third and mid-table with 12 rounds remaining.** Tromsø currently holds third on strong recent results and a solid goal difference, while Molde, Brann, Lillestrøm, Rosenborg, Fredrikstad, Sarpsborg 08, and HamKam sit within striking distance on points. The tight market pricing across these sides reflects the league’s depth, inconsistent form among the chasing pack, and the potential for momentum swings or European distractions to reshape the order. Viking and Bodø/Glimt’s historic Champions League qualification adds further uncertainty around squad rotation, though their domestic dominance keeps them favored in some trader assessments for a top-three finish. With goal-scoring spread across multiple teams and no dominant mid-season frontrunner for the final European spot, the race for third remains highly competitive.
