Early in the 2026 NFL season, a broad group of quarterbacks shares comparable opportunities to lead in passing touchdowns due to balanced offensive schemes, strong receiving corps, and favorable early schedules. Sam Darnold’s Week 1 injury and limited output, alongside distributed scoring from players like Trevor Lawrence and Jaxson Dart, underscore the parity. Historical patterns from recent campaigns show leaders often emerge from high-volume passers such as Jared Goff, Joe Burrow, and Dak Prescott, yet current form, red-zone efficiency, and matchup advantages remain fluid. Trader consensus reflects this uncertainty, with implied probabilities clustered tightly as no single signal has separated contenders after limited games.
