Early in the 2026-27 Scottish Premiership season, defensive parity across the 12-team league has kept the market for most clean sheets extremely tight, with implied probabilities clustered between 45.5% and 48.5%. St Mirren leads with three clean sheets in four matches behind goalkeeper Jacob Chapman, while Dundee, Celtic, and Motherwell each hold two through their opening fixtures. Limited sample sizes, combined with competitive early results for sides like Dundee United and St Johnstone, mean no club has established a clear edge in shutout frequency. Roster depth, goalkeeper form, and fixture congestion through the autumn will likely determine which back line sustains the lowest goals conceded over the full campaign.
