**Several Serie A sides enter the 2026-27 campaign with comparable defensive foundations and reinforcements that keep the “most clean sheets” market tightly bunched around 36–42%.** Last season’s leaders—Como (19 clean sheets, fewest goals conceded), Roma (17), Inter (18), and Juventus (16)—return with continuity or upgrades, while Napoli and others show similar baseline strength. Inter added John Stones to an already organized back line under Cristian Chivu and installed Josep Martínez as first-choice goalkeeper, sustaining their edge in recent title-winning campaigns. Roma rely on Mile Svilar’s elite shot-stopping and consistent organization. Juventus brought in Guglielmo Vicario and strengthened the center of defense, while Como’s standout 2025-26 record under Cesc Fàbregas provides carryover momentum. Early-season results and pre-season previews underscore that no single team holds a decisive structural advantage, so traders price the top five or six contenders within a narrow band reflecting shared upside in a competitive, low-scoring league environment.
