This market will resolve according to the winner of the 2026 China Open (snooker), currently scheduled for August 8, 2026 to August 16, 2026. If this tournament is postponed after August 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, canceled, or a winner has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other." If multiple players are declared winner, this market will resolve in favor of the player whose listed name comes first alphabetically. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the tournament organizer, the World Snooker Tour (wst.tv); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The 2026 China Open, revived after a six-year hiatus and running August 8–16 in Taiyuan with a £250,000 top prize, features a deep field of 128 players in a best-of-11 early rounds format that keeps elimination risk high for all contenders. Trader consensus reflects this parity, with implied probabilities clustered because top-ranked players like Judd Trump, Zhao Xintong, and Wu Yize sit alongside veterans such as Ronnie O'Sullivan, Kyren Wilson, and defending champion Neil Robertson, each carrying recent form or ranking points but facing unpredictable draw paths and potential early upsets. Home-nation momentum for several Chinese players adds further balance, while the absence of any dominant pre-tournament standout or major injury news leaves the market evenly distributed across a broad group rather than consolidating behind one name.
