The UEFA Champions League league phase opened on September 8-10 with Matchday 1 results leaving goal difference tightly bunched after just one fixture per side, as Manchester City, Aston Villa, Borussia Dortmund, Real Betis, Real Madrid, and AEK Athens posted the early positives while several others sat level or negative. With eight matches remaining for each of the 36 teams and schedules mixing elite clubs against varying opposition, trader consensus reflects broad parity among established attacking sides and realistic scope for swings from form, home advantage, and fixture congestion. No side has yet separated itself enough to dominate implied probabilities in this metric.
