Post-2026 World Cup speculation has fueled heavy MLS interest in Cristiano Ronaldo, with models assigning roughly 25% probability of a North American move once his Al-Nassr deal runs its course or a buyout materializes. Multiple league clubs have inquired, spreading implied probabilities tightly across Austin FC, San Jose Earthquakes, Charlotte FC and others in the mid-40% range as traders weigh roster needs, designated-player rules and marketing upside without a confirmed frontrunner. A return to Sporting CP sits near 42% on sentimental and familiarity grounds, while Real Madrid, Inter Miami and other European or high-profile options trail lower amid age, contract and competitive-fit considerations. The bunched pricing reflects broad uncertainty over timing, destination and whether the 41-year-old remains in Saudi Arabia.
