Kylian Mbappé leads the implied probabilities in this goal contributions market due to his proven World Cup pedigree, ongoing La Liga scoring surge, and France's attacking depth, though recent national team friendlies have prompted minor questions about peak sharpness. Harry Kane, Lamine Yamal, Jamal Musiala, and Erling Haaland sit closely behind, buoyed by strong club campaigns, high team expectations for deep tournament runs, and consistent involvement in chance creation. With the expanded 48-team format stretching the group stage and knockout rounds, traders see these forwards and creators as the players most likely to accumulate goals plus assists across multiple matches on squads favored to advance far. The tight clustering among the top five reflects comparable profiles in form, squad role, and path to minutes, with underdogs like Yamal and Musiala gaining traction from breakout trajectories and supporting cast talent. Early group results have yet to shift pricing meaningfully.

For the purpose of this market, a goal contribution is defined exclusively as the number of combined goals and assists a player has recorded.
In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official leader as determined by FIFA World Cup rules. If multiple leaders are announced then this market will resolve to the player who scored more goals during the 2026 FIFA World Cup. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically.
If the 2026 FIFA World Cup competition is cancelled, postponed after August 2, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no official leader declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”.
The resolution source for this market will be official information from FIFA; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
