Liverpool’s greater overall squad depth and attacking options have historically created second-half pressure in cup ties, yet Charlton’s organized defensive structure and home support at The Valley have kept recent encounters tight, often producing low-scoring or late-decided outcomes. With the campaign just starting, limited recent head-to-head data and fresh lineups leave traders viewing the second-half result as finely balanced between either side claiming the edge or the sides remaining level after the break.
