VTU-MU Pleven and Young Bulgarian Stars meet in a T10 encounter on the opening day of ECS Bulgaria 2026 at the Vasil Levski National Sports Academy in Sofia. Both sides compete in a seven-team field where defending champions Sofia Stars headline the group, while Pleven brings prior ECS experience and a named 2026 squad featuring captain Vasu Saini and several players with T10 exposure. Young Bulgarian Stars emphasize emerging domestic talent and fresh faces, aligning with the event’s role in growing Bulgarian cricket. The short format rewards aggressive powerplay batting, death-over execution, and quick adaptation to the venue’s conditions. With the tournament running June 29–July 4, early momentum and squad cohesion will shape early results in a schedule that mixes experienced club sides against developing local teams.
