Nick Hardt enters the first-round Prague Challenger matchup as the clear favorite against fellow right-hander Jakub Filip, reflecting his superior ATP ranking near 277 and career-high of 177 compared to Filip’s position around 946. The 25-year-old Dominican has posted a strong recent win rate above 75 percent over the past year, while the 20-year-old Czech home player remains early in his professional development with limited higher-level experience. The outdoor hard-court setting favors Hardt’s established game, though Filip could benefit from local support and any physical freshness in what appears to be their first meeting. No major injury reports or last-minute withdrawals have surfaced ahead of the August 17 start.
