Filip Peliwo enters the Roehampton Challenger qualifying draw as the No. 4 seed with a higher ATP ranking than Giulio Perego, positioning the Pole as the stronger favorite on paper in this first-round matchup. Peliwo's recent ITF results show a mix of competitive wins and losses on hard courts, while Perego arrives off a straight-sets defeat in an M25 Roehampton event and holds a lower ranking near the 800s. No confirmed injuries or late withdrawals have altered the field, though both players face the typical variability of challenger-level qualifying where surface familiarity and recent match rhythm often decide tight encounters. Trader consensus reflects Peliwo's edge in experience and seeding, tempered by the inherent unpredictability of lower-tier professional tennis.
