Vukic enters the Cincinnati Open qualifying matchup as the higher-ranked player at approximately No. 101-105 with a career-high of 48, bringing greater ATP experience on hard courts despite a 4-10 record in 2026 and a recent loss in Montreal. The 30-year-old Australian has compiled steady results in prior Masters 1000 events and holds an edge in overall consistency against the 18-year-old Blanch, whose career high reached 211 in June after reaching the Sarasota semifinals and securing an ATP-level win in Miami. Blanch’s aggressive baseline game and recent coaching adjustments position him as a live underdog with upset potential on the fast North American hard courts, though limited main-draw seasoning remains a key variable in this first-round qualifier.
