**Valentini Grammatikopoulou faces Jenny Lim in the ITF W35 Verbier final on clay in Switzerland on August 23, 2026.** Grammatikopoulou (29, WTA ~554, career-high 143) has compiled a strong run through the draw, dropping just one set while defeating Alexandra Biot, Berta Passola, Angella Okutoyi, and Anastasija Cvetkovic. The Greek veteran holds a solid overall clay record and has posted 12-6 results in 2026, with recent wins on the surface highlighting her consistency and experience at this level. Lim (21, WTA ~374-571 range), the second seed, has looked even sharper, conceding few games en route to the final with straight-set victories over Emma Kamper Malmkjaer, Ines Delaloye, Franziska Sziedat, and Ana Grubor. The American has won 8 of her last 10 matches overall and benefits from a higher ranking plus strong recent clay form. No prior head-to-head exists. The match pits Lim’s current momentum and athletic edge against Grammatikopoulou’s veteran savvy on the slow clay courts. Trader consensus typically reflects Lim’s slight edge in implied probability due to seeding, age, and recent dominance, though Grammatikopoulou’s proven ITF final experience keeps the outcome competitive. Weather or any late fatigue from the compact schedule could also influence play.
