Karol Filar enters the ITF M15 Krakow clay-court match as the clear ranking favorite over compatriot Wojciech Marek, holding a current ATP position near 604 compared to Marek’s ranking outside the top 1,900. Filar’s stronger recent results include a 43-23 record over the past year and consistent appearances in similar M15 events, while Marek, a 25-year-old right-hander, has shown form by advancing in the Krakow draw with a straight-sets win. Both players are Polish and benefit from local familiarity on the red clay, though Filar’s higher career-high ranking of 586 and greater experience at this level shape trader consensus around his edge. The matchup features limited prior head-to-head history, keeping focus on current form and surface consistency as the primary variables.
