Ekaterina Perelygina, the higher-ranked Austrian at WTA No. 546 with a career-high of 518, enters this W50 qualifying match on clay as the clear market favorite against Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Sara Mikaca (WTA No. 807). Perelygina’s stronger recent results on the ITF circuit, including multiple appearances in the Kursumlijska Banja events, and a prior head-to-head win support trader consensus around her 75-80% implied win probability. Mikaca, three years older at 23, shows solid win rates this season but faces a significant ranking gap and limited experience against players of Perelygina’s level. No confirmed injuries or withdrawals alter the draw, keeping focus on baseline form and clay-court consistency heading into the August 24 opener.
