Alexander Weis holds a clear ranking edge at No. 564 over the 19-year-old Kasra Rahmani at No. 791, giving the 29-year-old German veteran the experience advantage on the outdoor clay of the M25 Lesa. Weis reached recent clay quarterfinals and semifinals in European M25 events during July, while Rahmani advanced through qualifying with a straight-sets win over Giacomo Crisostomo earlier in the week. No prior head-to-head exists between them. The match occurs in the round of 16 with both players on short turnaround, where Weis’s consistency and clay-court familiarity represent the primary factors shaping current market consensus around the more established player.
