Anna Kalinskaya, ranked around No. 20, brings stronger recent hard-court form and a 20-14 2026 record into this National Bank Open second-round matchup in Toronto against No. 48 McCartney Kessler. Kalinskaya has shown resilience on the surface, including a comeback win in Washington, while the American Kessler enters after a convincing 6-3, 6-3 first-round victory over a wildcard. The pair has limited head-to-head history, making recent form, ranking differential, and hard-court experience the primary drivers of trader consensus on implied probabilities for the outcome.
