Alexandra Eala enters this WTA 1000 third-round matchup at the National Bank Open in Toronto as the clear market favorite at roughly 70% implied probability, buoyed by her world ranking inside the top 25 and a six-match winning streak that includes a recent three-set victory over Alycia Parks. The left-handed Filipino has shown strong recent form on hard courts, leveraging aggressive baseline play and improved consistency to reach deeper stages in 1000-level events. Caty McNally, ranked around 70-73, brings solid hard-court experience and recent wins such as her straight-sets result over Linda Noskova, but faces a significant ranking and momentum gap. The match on Centre Court at Sobeys Stadium carries added pressure for advancement to the round of 16, with Eala's current trajectory and higher-level results shaping trader consensus around her advancement edge.
