The Austrian Bundesliga's 2026-27 runner-up market shows tight clustering of implied probabilities near 50% across established sides because recent seasons have featured narrow gaps among the chasing pack. Sturm Graz, Austria Wien, Rapid Wien, LASK, and Wolfsberger AC each posted competitive championship-round results in 2025-26, with frequent shifts in the table driven by strong home records and variable away form. Red Bull Salzburg's consistent title pedigree leaves the second spot open, while mid-table clubs such as Hartberg and Altach benefit from occasional upsets against the top group. Pre-season roster changes and fixture congestion further blur distinctions, sustaining balanced trader consensus ahead of the opening matchweek.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Austrian Bundesliga for the 2026-27 season per the rules of Austrian Bundesliga (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be official information from the Austrian Bundesliga; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
