Luz and Matos enter the Halle Open doubles draw as the more experienced grass-court pairing, with Matos's proven ATP-level results and the Brazilians' strong 2026 title-winning form on multiple surfaces providing a slight edge in trader pricing. Arribage and Olivetti, whose partnership has delivered multiple indoor hard-court titles including Montpellier and Auckland, face a surface shift on the outdoor grass of the ATP 500 event, where their prior win over the Brazilians came on clay in Munich. No confirmed injuries or withdrawals have altered the field, though limited grass history for the French duo and the fast conditions at Halle remain key variables ahead of the round-of-16 matchup.
