Pavlasek and Rikl enter this Geneva Open doubles round-of-16 clash on clay with stronger recent momentum, posting four wins in their last six matches including a solid run at the Barcelona Open. The Czech pairing has compiled a 9-5 record this season, all on the surface, and benefits from familiarity with slower conditions that reward consistent returns and net play. Cash and Tracy, the second seeds, carry a 2-4 mark over the same stretch and suffered an early exit in Rome, though their prior ATP-level experience offers an edge in high-pressure situations. Historical head-to-head data between similar combinations favors the Czechs on clay, while both teams navigate a draw where rest and first-set execution often decide tight contests.
