Multiple teams remain tightly bunched in the MLB team home run race through mid-August 2026, with implied probabilities clustered near 50% reflecting ongoing uncertainty rather than a clear frontrunner. The Washington Nationals hold the league lead at roughly 179 home runs, driven by consistent power production, while the New York Yankees sit close behind at around 170 amid strong contributions from their lineup. Atlanta Braves and Houston Astros hover just below with 164-plus, supported by standout individual sluggers, as remaining games, roster health, and ballpark factors keep the outcome fluid among several contenders.
