With the 2027 Oscars still more than a year away, trader sentiment reflects the wide-open field for Best Supporting Actress, where no film has locked in awards momentum. Anne Hathaway’s 37% implied probability stems from early positioning in The Odyssey, while Penélope Cruz at 10% draws from dual prospects in The Invite and La Bola Negra. Mariana di Girolamo, Sandra Hüller, Parker Posey, and others trail as 2026 releases like Wild Horse Nine and Project Hail Mary generate initial buzz. Historical patterns show supporting categories often shift with guild nominations and late reviews, leaving room for surprises once full campaigns begin.
