Coventry City leads the implied probability for finishing last in the 2026-27 Premier League at 57%, reflecting their status as one of three newly promoted sides facing the steepest adjustment to top-flight demands. After opening losses to Arsenal and Hull City, the Sky Blues sit near the foot of the early table alongside other teams on zero points, underscoring how narrow results shape early sentiment. Fellow promoted clubs Ipswich Town and Hull City have shown slightly better starts, while established sides such as Sunderland, Fulham, Crystal Palace, and Nottingham Forest carry elevated risk due to second-season effects, recent squad turnover, and inconsistent form. With the bottom of the table typically decided by fine margins in goal difference and head-to-head results across 38 matchweeks, trader pricing remains closely grouped as no side has pulled clear after the opening fixtures.

If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed club to finish in last place in the 2026-27 English Premier League (EPL) season (e.g., they are mathematically guaranteed to finish above 20th), this market will resolve to "No".
In the event of a tie for last place, this market will resolve based on the club officially recognized by the Premier League as finishing in 20th place. If multiple clubs are officially recognized as finishing in last place, this market will resolve to the club whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If the 2026-27 English Premier League (EPL) season is cancelled, postponed after June 13, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no last-place club declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The primary resolution source will be official information from the Premier League; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
