Early in the 2026 NFL season, the rushing touchdowns leader market reflects a wide-open field where implied probabilities remain closely contested among a deep group of running backs and dual-threat quarterbacks. Jahmyr Gibbs benefits from expanded volume in Detroit after David Montgomery’s departure, pairing high carry totals with red-zone opportunities in a potent offense, yet his market share sits behind leaders like Travis Etienne Jr. amid early-week distributions. Veterans such as Derrick Henry continue delivering consistent goal-line work in Baltimore, while Jonathan Taylor, James Cook III, and Josh Allen draw support from proven scoring patterns and team schemes that funnel touches inside the five. Recent game logs show multiple backs posting multi-TD outings in Week 1, underscoring how injuries, schedule strength, and usage shifts can rapidly alter totals across 17 weeks. Trader consensus prices this uncertainty by spreading probability across more than two dozen viable candidates rather than consolidating behind any single profile.
