Recent GTA VI gameplay leaks from an apparent hack by the CyberLeek group have surfaced in mid-August 2026, featuring driving mechanics, side activities like basketball, water physics, and map details, prompting Rockstar to issue DMCA takedowns that traders view as implicit validation of authenticity. However, the company and parent Take-Two have maintained complete public silence with no official statement, fueling the narrow 53.5% "No" edge by suggesting they may avoid explicit confirmation to limit further damage ahead of the August 27 Netflix trailer debut. This dynamic hinges on whether the upcoming extended look or mounting leaks force a response that meets the market's confirmation threshold.
