Take-Two Interactive’s CEO Strauss Zelnick confirmed in March 2026 that Grand Theft Auto VI will launch in the standard AAA price range of $70–$80, directly addressing and dismissing earlier $100 rumors. This official positioning aligns with recent industry trends for major console releases and Rockstar’s history of accessible base pricing to drive broad adoption ahead of the November 19, 2026 launch. Trader sentiment has solidified around the “No” outcome as pre-order listings surface without any indication of a triple-digit base tag, while special or collector’s editions are expected to carry higher costs separately. Momentum could shift only if an imminent price reveal tied to Best Buy pre-orders next week deviates sharply from the CEO’s guidance.
