Spain enters the 2026 World Cup as Group H favorites, bolstered by their Euro 2024 title, strong Nations League showings, and a deep squad featuring attacking talents like Lamine Yamal alongside midfield control from Pedri and others, despite minor Rodri fitness questions. Traders price Spain at 78.5% implied probability based on this pedigree and consistent qualifying dominance. Uruguay sits second at 19.5% on the strength of international experience under Marcelo Bielsa, though recent form dips and the absence of aging stars like Suarez and Cavani temper expectations. Saudi Arabia and debutants Cape Verde trail far behind at low single digits, reflecting limited recent results and lower FIFA rankings against the group’s European sides. Matches open June 15.
