France enters the 2026 FIFA World Cup Group I as the consensus leader among traders due to its status as the top-ranked side, deep squad featuring established stars alongside emerging talent, and proven record in major tournaments. Norway sits second on the strength of its potent attack led by Erling Haaland and a perfect qualifying campaign that highlighted high expected goals and chance creation. Senegal brings physicality and recent competitive form from African qualifying but trails in overall depth and consistency against top European opposition. Iraq remains a distant option given its lower ranking and limited recent success at this level. With group matches set to begin June 16, the current pricing reflects traders’ assessment of these established hierarchies ahead of the opening fixtures.
