Mexico's early 2-0 win over South Africa and co-host advantages in attack have positioned the side as the frontrunner for most goals in Group A, reflected in the 56.5% trader consensus. South Korea's matching 2-1 opening result against Czechia keeps the race tight, with both sides set for direct confrontation on June 18 and favorable remaining fixtures against lower-scoring opponents. Czechia's single goal and South Africa's blank sheet leave them trailing, though the compact schedule and potential for high-scoring affairs in the final round of matches sustain realistic paths for multiple teams. The bunched probabilities highlight how small margins in the remaining games could shift goal totals across the group.

In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official leader as determined by FIFA World Cup rules. If multiple leaders are announced then this market will resolve to the team that conceded fewer total goals during the group stage. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve to the team that is listed first alphabetically.
If the 2026 FIFA World Cup competition is cancelled, postponed after July 11, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no official leader declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source for this market will be official information from FIFA; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
