Andrea Guerrieri enters this M25 Reggio Emilia clay-court final as the clear favorite, riding strong recent form with straight-set wins in the quarterfinals and semifinals plus a career-high ranking near 248. The 27-year-old Italian has converted that momentum into consistent results on the surface, while 22-year-old countryman Gabriele Piraino, ranked around 425, has shown resilience with comeback victories but faces a steeper challenge against a higher-ranked opponent with superior recent win rate. Both players benefit from home-soil familiarity on the red dirt, yet Guerrieri’s experience and current trajectory give him the edge in what shapes up as a competitive late-round matchup where recent tournament form and ranking differentials weigh heavily on trader sentiment.
