Emma Navarro enters the Nottingham grass-court opener against Sara Bejlek after capturing the Strasbourg WTA 500 title in May, her first trophy in 15 months, which lifted her back inside the top 30. The American leads the head-to-head 2-0, both victories on clay, though the quicker surface here shifts emphasis toward serve effectiveness and court coverage. Bejlek, the 20-year-old Czech ranked around No. 46, claimed the Abu Dhabi title earlier in 2026 and has shown strong baseline consistency, yet both players exited early at the preceding Libéma Open on grass. Trader consensus reflects Navarro’s experience and recent title momentum while acknowledging Bejlek’s rising trajectory and the surface transition that can reward aggressive play or produce upsets.
