Multiple major releases and sustained performers have created a tightly contested field for the Billboard Hot 100 #1 the week of August 15, with no song exceeding 50% implied probability. Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” leads at 43.5% on the strength of its 16-week run atop the chart, robust streaming, and country radio dominance, yet faces pressure from Ariana Grande’s “Petal” (40.5%) and “hate that i made you love me” (27%), which are benefiting from fresh album-promotion pushes and pop airplay gains. Morgan Wallen, Olivia Rodrigo, and Taylor Swift tracks sit lower amid competition for sales spikes and playlist momentum. Key upcoming catalysts include the next tracking week’s streaming and sales data plus any late radio adds that could shift the deadlock.
