This market will resolve to "Yes" if the bomb is defused with 0.3 seconds or less remaining on the detonation timer in any round during BLAST Open Porto 2026, currently scheduled for August 26 to September 6, 2026. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". A qualifying defusal occurs when a player successfully completes a defuse of the planted C4 with 0.30 seconds or less remaining until detonation, in any round of any map of an official BLAST Open Porto 2026 match, in either the group stage or the playoffs, including overtime rounds. A defuse completed with exactly 0.30 seconds remaining will qualify. The remaining time will be determined using the official match demo, in-game data, or broadcast footage. Defusals in warmups, technical replays, or maps voided by the tournament organizer will not count. If a qualifying defusal occurs in a completed map, this market will resolve to "Yes" regardless of any subsequent postponement or cancellation of the event, and regardless of when the confirming data is published. If BLAST Open Porto 2026 concludes early, is shortened, or is truncated for any reason, this market will resolve based on the maps actually completed; if no qualifying defusal occurred in those maps, this market will resolve to "No". If BLAST Open Porto 2026 is cancelled before any maps are played, postponed beyond September 20, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or it is otherwise unclear whether any maps were completed within that timeframe, this market will resolve 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market will be HLTV.org and official match demos; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The BLAST Open Porto 2026 group stage and playoffs, set to feature 16 teams across roughly 30-40 maps in best-of-three series, create a balanced market around 52.5% implied probability for a bomb defused with 0.3 seconds or less remaining. Historical CS2 data shows such clutch defusals occur in roughly one of every two high-level events of similar size, influenced by map pool rotation, site holds on Inferno or Ancient, and late-round utility usage. Strong defensive lineups from Vitality, NAVI, and MOUZ increase close-call frequency through disciplined site anchoring, while aggressive rosters like Spirit and Falcons can accelerate rounds and reduce opportunities. Key variables that could shift sentiment include the exact number of maps completed, any last-second roster adjustments before August 26, or format changes extending the bracket.
