Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” commands 77% implied probability in the CMA Song of the Year market after dominating 2026 with record-breaking chart runs, including 21-plus weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100 and Songs of the Summer honors. The track’s September 10 nomination announcement alongside her second entry “Be Her” reinforced its frontrunner status, building on earlier ACM wins and widespread radio and streaming dominance that outpaced competitors. Other nominees such as Megan Moroney’s “Beautiful Things,” Kacey Musgraves’ “Dry Spell,” and Stephen Wilson Jr.’s “Gary” sit at single-digit odds, reflecting solid critical and fan support yet lacking comparable momentum or cultural penetration this cycle. The November 18 ceremony remains the key catalyst, though Langley’s sustained airplay and sales edge suggest limited room for late shifts.
