Mercedes holds a commanding constructors' lead with 180 points after four Grands Prix in the 2026 season, fueled by rookie Kimi Antonelli's drivers' championship dominance (100 points) and George Russell's consistent podiums, thanks to their superior power unit and race pace under new active aero and hybrid regulations—highlighted by Antonelli's Miami GP victory on May 3 that extended the gap over rivals. McLaren, at 94 points, emerges as trader consensus challenger (16.4% implied probability) after closing Mercedes' race-pace deficit to just 0.016s in Miami via major upgrades, signaling strong development momentum. Ferrari (110 points) lags in market sentiment (5.5%) post-Miami slip, while Red Bull's (1.5%) early-season DNFs and reliability issues cap lower-tier hopes amid tightening fields from customer team upgrades.
