Rockstar’s August 6 announcement that the GTA 6 Extended Look will premiere exclusively on Netflix August 27 at 3 p.m. ET—followed by a free YouTube and Rockstar site drop six hours later—has become the dominant driver of trader sentiment. The Netflix partnership signals a longer-form presentation than standard trailers, prompting speculation about runtime amid comparisons to past Rockstar marketing and the game’s November 19, 2026 release. Community discussion centers on whether the video functions as a cinematic story reel, gameplay showcase, or hybrid, with early estimates ranging from 10–20 minutes to potential multi-episode lengths. The ten-day window until premiere leaves room for last-minute shifts in expectations but little new official detail.
