Liga MX’s 2026-27 top goalscorer market reflects a wide-open race after nine Apertura matchdays, with no player holding a commanding lead and multiple forwards posting comparable tallies. Salomón Rondón’s eight goals top the charts for Pachuca, yet several attackers sit on four or five, including Juninho at Pumas, Óscar Estupiñán at Juárez, Lucas Ocampos at Monterrey, and Julián Carranza at Necaxa. Juan Brunetta, Paulinho, Armando González, and others remain within striking distance through consistent involvement in high-possession sides. The league’s elevated goal rate, frequent rotation, and balanced attacking depth across clubs limit any single player’s dominance, while the remaining schedule and potential late surges keep implied probabilities tightly clustered among a broad group of contenders.

Only goals scored in Liga MX matches will count. Goals scored in other competitions (e.g., Campeon de Campeones, CONCACAF Champions Cup, Leagues Cup, international matches) will not count for this market.
Goals scored during the Apertura, Clausura and Liguilla will all count toward this market's resolution.
If multiple players tie for the top goal scorer, this market will resolve to the tied player who scores fewer goals from penalty kicks during all phases of the 2026-27 Liga MX season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the tied player with the higher xG during all phases of the 2026-27 Liga MX season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the tied player whose last name comes first alphabetically.
If the 2026-27 Liga MX season is canceled or not completed by June 27, 2027, the market will resolve to "Other".
The primary resolution source will be official statistics from Liga MX. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
