Mike Evans, now in his first season with the San Francisco 49ers at age 33, has recorded three receiving touchdowns through five games in 2026 while playing through strained ribs and recent Achilles soreness that has limited his practice participation. The veteran wideout has posted 24 receptions for 326 yards in an offense featuring Brock Purdy and benefiting from absences to George Kittle and Ricky Pearsall, providing elevated target opportunities early. His history of consistent red-zone production contrasts with durability concerns at this stage of his career and the 49ers' demanding remaining schedule, which includes favorable and challenging matchups that could influence volume and scoring chances. Trader consensus on his season-long total reflects these competing elements of opportunity, injury management, and age-related factors.
