The 2026 Big 12 passing touchdowns race sits in a dead heat because the conference features unusual quarterback depth and parity entering the season. Returning standouts such as Noah Fifita at Arizona and Bear Bachmeier at BYU join high-production transfers including Drew Mestemaker at Oklahoma State, Devon Dampier at Utah, and Jaden Craig at TCU, each operating in schemes built for volume passing. Early non-conference results have produced isolated big games—most notably Cutter Boley’s six-touchdown outing for Arizona State—yet no signal-caller has pulled clear after limited reps. Official injury reports remain clean for the top group, while home/away splits, offensive line continuity, and target distribution will likely determine separation once full conference schedules begin. Trader consensus around 46–50% across dozens of names captures this wide-open dynamic.
