Georgia holds the top spot in the latest AP and Coaches polls after a 20-17 road win over Alabama, improving to 6-0 and earning the majority of first-place votes. Several other undefeated teams remain in contention, including Notre Dame (6-0), Miami (5-0), Indiana (6-0), BYU (5-0), Texas Tech (5-0), Utah (5-0), and UCLA (5-0), which surged after upsetting Oregon. Texas slipped after its loss to Oklahoma, while Oregon fell out of the rankings entirely. This weekend’s slate features key tests such as Notre Dame at BYU, Ohio State at Indiana, and Georgia hosting Auburn, with results expected to shape the next set of rankings and influence trader consensus on the eventual No. 1 team.
