Recent polling shows Hispanic men shifting back toward Democrats in the 2026 generic congressional ballot, with leads of around 20 points in some surveys, following Donald Trump's 10-point edge among the group in 2024. Trader consensus at 68.5% for Democrats over 45% for Republicans reflects this movement, driven primarily by dissatisfaction with economic conditions and cost-of-living pressures under the current administration. Trump's approval among Latino men has fallen sharply to net negative territory around -41 points, with notable regret among some 2024 Republican voters and rising potential defection. Overall Latino registered voters also lean Democratic by double digits in multiple national samples, though both parties trail prior midterm benchmarks amid high undecided shares. Key catalysts include inflation concerns topping voter priorities ahead of the November 3 contests.
