The Detroit Tigers sit at 19-25 and have dropped three straight, though they benefit from home-field comfort and are monitoring ace Tarik Skubal’s elbow recovery after he resumed throwing. Series results could hinge on bullpen effectiveness and how quickly the Tigers’ offense capitalizes on favorable matchups against a Guardians club that has maintained solid road splits.
