Rays sit at 25-13 and second in the AL East, fueled by consistent offensive output from Junior Caminero and a rotation that has posted a sub-3.00 ERA over the past month. Boston, meanwhile, remains in last place at 16-21 amid a crowded injured list that includes Roman Anthony’s wrist issue, Garrett Crochet’s shoulder inflammation, and absences for key relievers. Red Sox starters like Sonny Gray and Connelly Early have shown signs of stabilizing the staff, but the club’s defensive improvements have yet to translate into consistent wins. Weather delays and roster tweaks on both sides could still shift lineups heading into the June series.
