Matthew Dellavedova enters this M15 Tianjin round-of-32 match as the clear favorite due to his established ATP ranking in the low 300s and greater professional experience on the ITF circuit compared to junior-ranked opponent Kazuki Nakajima. Dellavedova’s recent activity includes consistent participation in Australian and Asian hard-court events, while Nakajima’s form shows recent losses in Tokyo ITF qualifiers and junior events, limiting his momentum heading into the Tianjin hard-court draw. The fast surface typically rewards reliable serving and baseline consistency, areas where Dellavedova holds a stylistic edge. No confirmed injuries or withdrawals affect either player, and the early-round timing means both enter relatively fresh, though Dellavedova’s superior ranking and match toughness shape the consensus view of a lopsided contest.
