Peter Zavacky faces Alexey Aleshchev in the M15 Poprad ITF men's singles draw on outdoor clay in Slovakia. Aleshchev, a 27-year-old Russian ranked near 1,495 with a career-high of 1,325 earlier in 2026, brings greater experience at this level despite recent straight-sets losses in prior ITF events. Zavacky, a Slovak competitor with far lower or unranked status and limited professional results, benefits from home-soil familiarity and potential local support in the Round of 32 matchup. Both players enter with uneven recent form and minimal head-to-head history at this tier, leaving surface-specific movement, serve consistency, and early-match adaptation as key variables that could influence outcomes on the slower clay courts.
