This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed club is determined as the runner-up of the A League Soccer for the 2026-27 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of A League Soccer for the 2026-27 season per the rules of A League Soccer (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the A League Soccer; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The 2026-27 A-League Men campaign opens in mid-October with no dominant favorite for second place on the regular-season ladder, as reflected in the tightly bunched trader pricing across all 12 clubs. Defending premiers Newcastle Jets must manage AFC Champions League Elite commitments that create fixture congestion and squad rotation challenges, while reigning champions Auckland FC transition under new coaching leadership and aim to sustain their recent finals success. Melbourne Victory’s high-profile squad investments, combined with their own Asian campaign, add further uncertainty, and several other sides including Sydney FC, Western Sydney Wanderers, and Adelaide United enter with balanced rosters, solid recent form, and favorable early schedules. This parity, typical of the league’s compressed standings battles, keeps second-place probabilities clustered as preseason results and opening-round injuries reshape early momentum.
