The 2026-27 Austrian Bundesliga campaign opens amid elevated uncertainty after LASK claimed the prior title, breaking a period of dominance by Sturm Graz and Red Bull Salzburg. Early matchday results show LASK atop the table with strong attacking output, while Salzburg and Sturm Graz sit close behind amid solid pre-season preparations and squad continuity. Rapid Wien, Austria Wien, and others like Wolfsberger AC and Grazer AK feature in the mix due to competitive recent form, balanced home/away records, and limited standout transfer activity that fails to separate the group. With no team establishing clear separation and historical patterns of mid-table clubs occasionally surging, trader pricing reflects a tightly contested race for second place where multiple sides retain realistic paths through schedule strength and head-to-head dynamics.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Austrian Bundesliga for the 2026-27 season per the rules of Austrian Bundesliga (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be official information from the Austrian Bundesliga; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
