PSV Eindhoven enter the 2026-27 Eredivisie campaign as three-time defending champions and clear title favorites per pre-season models, yet the runner-up market remains tightly bunched among the traditional big three. Ajax and Feyenoord have both undergone significant summer rebuilds—A jax adding attacking options under new manager Míchel while Feyenoord welcomed back Giovanni van Bronckhorst—fueling trader expectations of a renewed challenge for second. Recent results, including PSV’s heavy Johan Cruyff Schaal defeat to AZ, underscore that even the league leaders face inconsistency, preserving realistic paths for either rival to finish ahead of the pack or for PSV to slip into the runner-up spot in simulations. Lower-ranked sides trail well behind in implied probability, reflecting the historical dominance of the top clubs in domestic standings.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Eredivisie for the 2026-27 season per the rules of Eredivisie (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be official information from the Eredivisie; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
